I've decided to research how to make the game feel better to play after stumbling across a tutorial to create a camera shake effect in Unreal, to see if I can implement this as a form of game polish. The article can be found here.
"A little screen shake or spray of particles can make all the difference in the world to a game’s feel."
With this in mind I will be adding a screen shake effect to things such as the players dash, head bobbing while walking, even when shooting the weapon.
This article even lists things about game pacing and progression, which the team will also take into account when talking about how our player will move through our levels.
