Shotgun Refinement & Models

Here is the refined shotgun model, we added an extra barrel and a pump action system that would work with all 3 barrels, we looked at spring magazines to help feed the bullets into the top of the gun that can be taken out all at once for reloading, real life referencing was taken to make these adjustments, we also made a couple of maya iterations regarding the shotgun by using the same components and moving them about:

Spire Research and Modelling

 Wednesday and Thursday work

 Spire Research

https://www.pinterest.com/alwynrjones/spire/

 Spire Modelling/Versions:

Here is the first attempt at a version for the spire. Was trying to get it to look a certain way.after  a few different attempts I went back to just how it looked when it was near the beginning, quite simple .I decided for the next version I would try from scratch to make it less like the first images below.

First Version

Second Version

I really like how this model for the second version of the spire turned out,I feel that I found a shape for it that I was happy with it a lot sooner and didnt have to redo the model as much. Hope you guys think so to,Even if it just needs tweaking.I prefer it to the first version attempt above.

There was a lot of general information out there for pixel textures. Some of it good ,others not so much. However I feel as though the 2 links right under this image of the process some people go about pixel texturing ,will really help me when I have to do these textures myself.
