Heres whatI have been working on some more after I sketched some of my ideas for the layout on squared paper.I know there is much wrong with these initial concepts but here are some of my thoughts and ideas for the alien cave area of the level......I also found out how to make some watercolor brushes in photoshop so tried to use and test them here.As you can see here I need some practice and it clearly shows although they turned out better than they had started .I realise that the concepts will need to be redone as I dont like it with the blue lines showing through and looking kinda messy in areas.I will get the hang of the brushes and will practice using them more so I can make the concepts better.More ideas to come.
The following two images below are using two of the color palletes that I posted previously on the blog.Im not sure what to think of them.When it came to using the color palette for the bottom of the two images it was harder to differentiate the colors in photoshop.I have more concepts and ideas to come .Just tell me if you want more using the color palettes from the mood board or if you like the colors above more.I will get there.Hope these are a good start and along the right lines of what were looking for.Im quite liking the watercolor effect.I think it works well just need to practice more.
